Mini-grants for Enforcing the Underage Drinking Laws will be ready May 1, 2008
The Office of Intergovernmental Services of
the Department of Finance and Administration announces that the
application packets for the 2008-2009 Enforcing the Underage
Drinking Laws mini-grants will be ready May 1, 2008, on the
website of the Department of Finance and Administration,
www.arkansas.gov/dfa/igs.
Law enforcement agencies around the State are eligible to apply
for one of several mini-grants in the amount of $6,250. The
application deadline is May 30, 2008. The mini-grant period
will be listed in the grant application guide.
The mini-grants are available to:
• Sponsor educational programs for youth and their parents through youth task forces
• Conduct advertisement campaign about underage drinking prevention
• Support innovative and collaborative programs to prevent underage drinking
Local law enforcement agencies (city police) are encouraged to
apply for one of these mini-grants.
