The New CJI Course Schedule is Now Available Online

The new CJI Course Schedule is now available online and will soon be mailed to all police departments and sheriffs’ offices in the State.

This year, the Institute will offer a variety of new programs for Arkansas law enforcement, including:

• Gizmos and Gadgets

• Domestic Violence

• Identity Theft

• Officer Safety and Communication
   Spanish

• Policing People with Mental Disorders

• Consensual Encounters

The Institute is also pleased to announce that its Advanced Crime Scene Technician Certificate Program will be offered this year for those officers who have completed CJI’s Crime Scene Technician Certificate Program.

In addition, many of the staple programs that law enforcement rely on the Criminal Justice Institute to provide each year will once again be available, including CJI’s Distinguished Programs (Arkansas Leader, the School of Law Enforcement Supervision, the Crime Scene Technician Certificate Program, and the Narcotics Officer Certificate Program.)
