Special ETC Programs
CJI’s Education and Training Center has been awarded several grants that have made a positive impact on Arkansas law enforcement and the citizens they serve and protect.
Illicit methamphetamine use, distribution, and production have reached epidemic proportions in our State. To assist the Arkansas law enforcement community in combating the negative impact of methamphetamine on innocent citizens and children, the Institute has made methamphetamine a key education and training priority. Through federal and state funding, the Arkansas Methamphetamine Education and Training Initiative has focused on assisting law enforcement professionals to safely identify and effectively investigate illicit methamphetamine use, distribution, and production.
During the upcoming fiscal year, the Institute will offer a series of drug and meth-related courses and programs in several locations across the State.
